However what sets Golden Egg Studios apart is our ability to record the full band live in our very generously sized recording studio. We are one of the few studios in Ireland which has been specifically designed for an ensemble/group recording. We have a fantastic sounding, large vaulted ceiling live room, with natural daylight. Six giant acoustically treated gobo’s, with large windows to allow visual communication between musicians, can be moved around the isolate individual instruments/vocals.

This gives us the luxury of being able to record a group of musicians in the live room at the same time while having individual control/separation over each instrument/vocal. I’m sure many of you have seen pictures or videos of the Beatles with George Martin recording live together in Abbey Road Studios using similar gobos. Very few recording studios in Ireland have these facilities and that is part of the reason that Golden Egg Studios have been very successful in attracting bands and top producers and musicians from all over the country.
